One fix that became their whole tech team.
TeaTime lets families post photos and videos from a phone to the television a loved one already watches. A bug that had waited for years was where we started. Over about two years our team grew into the one that built the product.
A bug that had waited for years.
TeaTime’s founders, Ed Trick and his co-founder, reached us through their CTO, Kuldeep Suhag. Their mobile app had a problem that had been open for years, and their developer at the time had not been able to find a solution.
Our developer fixed it quickly and suggested ways to improve the app’s performance. The founders were happy with the result and kept asking for more.
From one fix to a whole team.
- 1
The fix
One developer solved the bug that had stayed open for years, and gave advice on performance.
- 2
Business analyst
The founders asked for a BA to own product requirements, so the team always knew what to build next.
- 3
Backend developer
A backend developer joined on a monthly basis, and the work kept landing.
- 4
The whole team
Front-end, mobile and QA followed. Our team gradually replaced their previous technology team.

Mobile and TV

The TV app, on a tight clock.
The TeaTime TV app was needed urgently, with a deadline set from the TV partner’s side. The founders asked our team to deliver it in less time than planned.
The team took the challenge on and released it on time. The client paid an incentive to the whole team. It happened twice on this project.
Everything live today, built by our team.
Our team started early in the product’s life, and what TeaTime runs today was developed by it. Whatever features the founders wanted, the team delivered. Screens are blurred.
